Founded and managed international trade association of record labels/CD manufacturers:
Represented member companies to overseas markets at the Midem International Music Conference - Cannes, France: Successfully licensed numerous new music releases to overseas markets, and formed synergistic relationships with foreign companies for catalog development

Director of the Independent Music Retailers Association (IMRA)
Founded and managed trade association for independent music retailers providing: a collective industry voice; co-op marketing opportunities with record labels and distributors; better pricing from the one-stops (wholesalers); and legal representation. 

Organized legal case against major label distributors for discriminating against IMRA members by retaining and briefing attorneys on case merits and producing evidence of conspiracy and collusion; IMRA won a judgment in LA district court within 6 months and received media coverage across the country, including CNN, Entertainment Tonight, local radio, The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, LA Times...
